Someday, in every town and city in America there will be a Civil Branch office. It will be a place where all are welcome. No prerequisite of any kind necessary. You won't need to be a member of this or that. All you need to be is a person. You will be able to get any type of information there from finding a trustworthy local mechanic to learning where you might find a job or to simply let your community know that you are new to the area and don't know a lot of people yet. The one thing you will never find there is money driven motives. There will no businesses, advertising or marketing of any kind as well as all the tricks and gimmics they use to try to get your money. The Civil Branch is only concerned with people. People are more important than money. There are more human beings in this country, and on the planet, than there have ever been in the history of humankind, yet isolation and loneliness is more widespread than it's ever been especially in the more developed countries. This should tell us something about how backwards our priorities are. Break down on the side of the road in your car by yourself and it could feel like the end of the world. Break down with a friend and it might simply be something to laugh about. Just because we have enough technology and the ability to buy goods of any kind making it possible for a person to live completely alone doesn't mean that we should. Life is not a contest. It's an experience and this experience should be shared. The more it is shared the greater the experience.
